Rotary Park

By Living In Clarksville | June 28, 2024

Rotary Park, spanning 111.3 acres near the Sango community on Rotary Drive, is a vibrant hub of outdoor activities designed to cater to a variety of interests and abilities. The park features over five miles of trails suitable for both hiking and biking, and includes a large playground that is accessible according to Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) standards. This expansive park is equipped with numerous amenities including specialized play areas, mountain biking paths, covered pavilions, picnic tables with grills, a sand volleyball court, a horseshoe pit, and an 18-hole disc golf course. Additionally, there’s a vast open space ideal for various recreational activities.

In 2020, Rotary Park enhanced its educational offerings with the opening of the 4,200 square foot Wade Bourne Nature Center. This facility enriches visitors’ understanding of the local ecosystem through a mix of permanent and temporary exhibits, alongside interactive activities. The center aims to provide insights into the natural history of the region, making it a great resource for both education and entertainment.

Rotary Park is not just a place for physical activities but also a learning environment where visitors of all ages can explore and appreciate the natural world around them. Whether you’re looking to engage in active sports, enjoy a leisurely day outdoors, or learn more about the environment, Rotary Park offers a comprehensive setting for all these activities.
